New Role: Tenure-Track Assistant Professor at UNLV

I'm excited to announce that I'll be starting a new role as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas this fall. I'll be diving into using advanced fluid measurement and simulation techniques to study complex flows associated with aerospace and biomedical applications. A big thanks to everyone who's been there with support and encouragement along the way.

Position Details

Institution

University of Nevada-Las Vegas

Position

Tenure-Track Assistant Professor

Start Date

Fall 2023

Research Focus

Advanced fluid measurement and simulation techniques for complex flows in aerospace and biomedical applications

If you are interested in collaborating or even just curious about what I'm working on, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm always up for a chat!

Research Vision

At UNLV, I plan to establish a research program that bridges the gap between aerospace and biomedical fluid dynamics. By leveraging advanced measurement techniques and computational simulations, we'll tackle complex flow problems that have significant implications for both fields.

Some key areas of focus will include:

  • Development of novel fluid measurement techniques for complex geometries
  • Application of aerospace-inspired technologies to biomedical devices
  • Integration of experimental and computational approaches to study fluid-structure interactions
  • Collaboration with medical professionals to address clinical challenges
